Bugs and I at the Greeley Independence Stampede, 2006.

I have an addiction…HORSES!  I can’t help it, I’ve been addicted for as long as I can remember.  My parents, Keith and Vivian, have always been supportive of my goals with horses and competition in general.  With each year my goals just keep getting bigger, and so do the expenses!  Right now, I have over a dozen horses of my own in training as well as several client’s horses.  I’ve been riding horses competitively for the last 14 years and am starting to take the sport to an extreme.  I am very good at what I do and I LOVE IT!

My specialty is as a TRAINER.  I’ve been successfully training futurity horses since 2000.  I enjoy starting and finishing my own horses and intend to continue training for as long as I can still ride.  I take pride in my work with young horses and train them with hopes of a LONG RACING CAREER.  I generally sell most of the young horses after their futurity year so I can afford to buy more and start all over again.  However, I have decided to keep my two exceptional mares, BUGS and GINGER to pursue my rodeo goals and begin an unbeatable breeding program of my own for the future.

I graduated from CSU in May, 2002 with a degree in Sociology and a certificate in Criminal Justice.  I have been training and racing futurity barrel horses since then.  I filled my pro rodeo permit at Loveland, CO in the summer of 2005 at the first rodeo I entered on Bugs with a 4th place finish. Ive been rodeoing as much as possible and to the best of my ability since!

I plan to haul as much as possible and keep my girls happy and liking their jobs. Its hard humbling work, but I enjoy it very much. Thanks again and please feel free to contact me at any time!

This is my best buddy, Frog.  He taught me everything I know, and I was sure a lucky cowgirl to have had him in my life.  In this photo from 1994 we were at a Little Britches Rodeo.
